saying it isn t imminent and now ukraine is amping up their desire for immediate support from nato and from the west. president biden is getting ready to speak this hour. in the past there s been a disconnect between the white house messaging and what ukraine is saying. what does ukraine hope to hear from president biden. well, obviously the government level they want to hear increased support and the united states is stall worth in their defense. i will say one thing that you hear from regular people and you hear this from people from all walks of life is they specifically feel that the united states and nato is backing them in way they did not feel in 2014. you keep hearing it repeatedly. in 2014 when putin invaded crimea, nobody was looking and took it seriously. because nobody was looking, putin was able to do what he wanted to do. they feel every one is looking now so it will be different.
raises questions about some of those statements that he has made. let me bring gabe esch sherman back in to this for a second. to rebecca s point about the relationship sean hannity has had with respect to both donald trump and talking about these investigations, does that does in your opinion, because you know these fox characters more than anyone, gabe, does this change or have any impact on what sean hannity does from th from moment on? he has been one of donald trump s most stall worth supporters through everything he has gone through. does he have to do something differently now that his name is involved in this? i think clearly the conversations happening inside fox news right now are this is now a network issue. he is going to have to make some sort of fuller disclosure than the short previous statement he just released to the wall street journal. and you know, this is going to in some ways affect the ability
