According to reporting from the Buffalo News, a 29-year-old Buffalo man was arrested by the Genesee County Sheriff s Office and charged with multiple crimes on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.
Clyde Hoskins of Buffalo was taken into custody in the Genessee County town of Stafford, which is approximately 5 miles east of Batavia, and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, and tampering with physical evidence. During the investigation that led to his arrest, authorities state they found a loaded handgun which h had been hidden inside a chicken coop.
