According to the Sonoma County sheriffs office, deputies responded to reports of a man holding a rifle on todd road when they arrived on scene just after midnight. The suspect fled in a vehicle at a pursuit occurred. Gunfire was exchanged between the suspect and police injuring 4 deputies. According to sheriff ed ian groom to have injuries to their hands. And one was shot in the leg and one received a head injury. Our deputy with a head injury is in critical but stable condition after shooting at police. And then during the pursuit, he actually pulls over and investigators say he shot at 4 deputies who returned fire on him. He hops back into his car takes off from the scene and ultimately crashes but not before hitting 4 deputies. Heres the breakdown.
