about the transcript, there are some talk from different witnesses that there might be parts of this that words are left out and the implication is there is more to the phone call that we have a seat. we don t know all about that because we haven t seen the back and forth with cross examination at some of these witnesses beyond the opening statement. what we know is what the report is, he said there were some words left out. the word wasn t included at the memo that was released, the rough transcript. we are not hearing the things that were left out changed the meeting or were any kind of a bombshell. i do think that one thing the democrats have done that is smart as they will have staff lawyers do the questioning. they have already had them do that and when these hearings become public, they will not have this grandstanding each member kind of burning up minutes. you will have a trained staff
panels running the impeachment probe coalesce around bringing in ambassador taylor and ambassador yovanovitch. there is some interest about what potentially bringing in john bolton to be one of these people. they re kicking around the names and trying to kick around the strategy. do you have the staff lawyers do this. there s a hundred members between these three committees. you cannot do that free-for-all because you get a few shots to tell the story to the american public and they realize that s something that s going to have to be part of this plan. shan, is this a disingenuous argument by those who say this is unfair, unprecedented, this is secret? i mean, benghazi. trey gowdy himself said i cap get so much more done in these private questioning sessions than essentially in a circus public hearing. it s completely disingenuous. gowdy is the man who kicked out another republican representative because he wasn t supposed to be in there. also i think it s important to remember a d

under oath to congress and being under oath to the fbi, you can t tell different stories without criminally lying in one of those circumstances. now, i mentioned that today s hearing was the first conducted under new rules adopted by the judiciary committee last week to essentially set the parameters for their impeachment investigation of the president this was the first hearing under those parameters one of those new rules adopted by the committee last week gave the committee the ability to have committee staff lawyers ask questions of witnesses in addition to questions being asked by members themselves. so, yeah, members of congress all want their five minutes. but in addition to that under these new rules, staff lawyers get to ask too and that s really important. and we knew that was going to be really important when they agreed to that we got to see it in action today because when the staff lawyers started asking questions of lewandowski, that s where it really got good. i mean hel
