Someone spray-painted hate messages and symbols that were discovered Tuesday at the Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. Viaduct, the YWCA and a building at 78 S. Webb Ave.
Alliance police are investigating the three instances, which they believe are connected.
Police have made no arrests, but Sgt. Michael Yarian said detectives believe juveniles are to blame. A witness reported seeing two individuals in the area around the time of the incidents, he said.

This is the second time this year hate messages were spray-painted in the Alliance area. The Smith Township home of an Alliance City Schools principal, who is Black, was vandalized with a racial slur in January. Two 15-year-old boys were charged.

Special to The Alliance Review
Thanks to the Wednesday Morning Tip Club, the clients at the Alliance Community Pantry will be well-supplied with peanut butter the next few days.
Members of the Tip Club delivered 225 jars of peanut butter, other food items, and a $135 check to the pantry Wednesday morning.
Making it all possible was member Teresa Lins, who wears many hats at Bel Air Senior Living Community, including social service and marketing director. She had encouraged the nursing home staff, residents and visitors to donate peanut butter and the response was impressive .
