Congress leader Rahul Gandhi filed a rejoinder in the Modi surname defamation lawsuit in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. He said he was facing an exceptional case for a trivial offence. He said Gujarat BJP MLA Purnesh Modi calling him "arrogant" was "slanderous".
Two foreign experts, Vincent Van De Merwe and Dr. Andy Fraiser, whose names were mentioned in a letter sent to the Supreme Court expressing "concerns over Cheetah deaths in Kuno National Park," have requested a retraction, stating that they never consented to the letter.
The court stated an injunction cannot be sought at this point in time, especially when the movie has already been released and must have been seen by thousands of people by now.
