Nation, folks, i come to you tonight from a city gripped by fear. Because for the past 24 hours new york has been engulfed in a hell storm of peaceful protests. Demonstrators have taken to the streets halting new york traffic to a level that can only be described as new york traffic. And its all because yesterday a Staten Island grand jury chose not to indict an nypd officer who killed eric garner, an unarmed black man. And i have to admit it is shocking that anyone in manhattan has shown awareness of Staten Island. Folks, folks, these protestors arent just after the nypd. They also targeted another institution. Protests broke out, blocks away from Rockefeller Center last night where thousands had gathered for the annual Tree Lighting christmas ceremony. Theyre now chanting shut it down, shut it down, eric garner, Michael Brown they tried to shut down the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting. Thank god it wasnt the men ors or men owe menorah or this protest would have gone on for eight
Toward here and Discovery Bay looking at some wet weather, as well as 580 toward livermore, fairfield a few areas of some mist and drizzle, some light showers and back through berkeley and el~cerrito. It is dry in san rafael and San Francisco. A shower passed through about 3 00 this morning. 7 00, notice the showers still hung up in the south bay, but through the 8 00 hour, barely anything left and more sunshine through the afternoon. Mostly try through the weekend but a bigger storm system on the way next week. We need the rain, but all the rain at once has caused some problem.
