Sprout Dwellings manufactures only a few designs. But they chosen very carefully to do several things hasten construction, maintain affordability, stay accessible to all demographics, emphasize locally sourced materials and perhaps most importantly, to use less power.

Sean Kirkwood and Oliver Nemeskeri of Sprout Dwellings took inspiration for their business in part from a renovated 120-year-old carriage house in Nemeskeri s backyard. The business partners have been using the structure as a work space during the pandemic, but Nemeskeri s family also enjoys using the space on the weekends.(Kelly Clark)
