Fire. Good morning. It is sunday, april 19. Lets start with a check of the weather. An interesting comparison, the picture behind you is from the tower looking east and is dark and cloudy. Let me show you the camera towards the trivalley where you see some clouds breaking up. Some of us have some openings in the clouds. The weird thing is you get an opening like that across the bridge, the temperatures will drop more. It is 57 oakland and almost 10 degrees cooler in santa rosa. Anna compares with 24 hours ago about seven degrees colder than yesterday at this time. Those places that seem less cloud cover, livermore that is you, petaluma about seven degrees cooler. Low to mid 50s, grab a light sweater. The clouds will fill out. Then we have more blue sky into the afternoon. Daytime highs today are very much like yesterday which means mid to upper 60s. Four people in this house all through wednesday night. The housekeeper spoke with me the same day these four bodies were found on thursday and told us normally she would come work on thursday, but she received an odd text from the wife who lived there, amy savopoulos, telling her not to come in. I start calling her and say and left her a message that asking her that she was okay and she never answered. Reporter days later she said that wasnt the only message she got from the family. Savvas savopoulos left her a voicemail wednesday night. But i never got that message the same night. I got it the next day. Reporter in that message he told her not to come in the next morning, that the other housekeeper, veralicia figueroa, was staying overnight to help out because amy was sick. That was not normal. Public Health Experts and the cdc pleading with americans to not travel, not gather for large family meals and bracelebration not to do all the things that could kick the pandemic into higher gear. As for the president and his concerns, so far silent on the worsening pandemic, this terrible milestone reached just a short time ago. The president has been tweeting baseless voter fraud theories about his election loss. He also chose to skip a g20 world leader session on the pandemic, choosing instead to play golf, as you see right here. I want to get right to cnns evan mcmorrissantoro, whos here in new york. So evan, we are now past 12 million confirmed cases. Just give us a sense of how dire the situation is at this point, where were headed with numbers like this. Reporter well, erica, as y

Yesterday he played golf and day before he enjoyed christmas with his family. He has been touting the successes of the Republican Congress and the last part of the year in 2017. He tweeted, quote, all signs for the business is looking really good for the next year. Only to be helped further by our tax cut bill. Will be a great year for companies and jobs. Stock market is poised for another year of success. Democrats are still criticizing that effort as one that will add substantially to the National Debt and largely benefit corporations and the wealthy. As for next years congressional agenda and republican agenda the president will be speaking with Mitch Mcconnell and paul ryan the first weekend in january at camp david to outline their priorities. Expected to be on the top of that list is infrastructure.
