Local bar owners continue to take financial hit during the big game
“It’s a blessing to be open,” said owner Rick Merlino. “Like I said, it’s better than being closed and not making any money and not being able to pay off anything.”

ROSEBURG, Ore. – Douglas County bars and restaurants were open for the big game Sunday, as the county remains in the “high risk” category.
Under the “high risk” guidelines, they can be open for indoor dine-in with a maximum of 50 people or 25 percent capacity, whichever is smaller.
