AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - FirstBank Southwest has been donating to area schools through a School Spirit Card Program since 2019.
In 2020, the program worked with 11 different schools in Texas Panhandle to create, market and distributed a customized Debit Card with the school logo/mascot.
These customized debit cards allow users to show off their school pride and give back to their school district.
FirstBank Southwest donates a portion of each debit card transaction processed to each school district participating in the program.
FNB Bank recently distributed fourth quarter 2020 donations from the Spirit Debit Card program.
Bank Marketing Director Brooke Wiles said they donated over $79,000 to Trigg County, Mayfield, and Graves County schools.
The Spirit Card works like a traditional debit card. For each signature-based transaction (not using your PIN), FNB donates $0.10 to the school system.
