Districts Through Spirit Card Program (Huron, South Dakota – March 8 20, 2021) – American Bank & Trust strives to make a positive and lasting impact on communities. One way the bank accomplishes this is through their Spirit Card program. These Debit Cards promote school pride and generate income for school districts. A Spirit Card is a Debit Card that showcases the school district’s name, colors and mascot. The card is linked to a customer’s checking account and when account holder make a purchase with their Spirit Card, American Bank & Trust donates money back to the school. The bank recently donated $5,026.62to the Huron School District. These funds will be used to buy a variety of items including creation of a sensory walk pathway at Madison Elementary, athletic training equipment for students with injuries that are doing rehab, gifts and rewards that will be used during March Madness Reading Challenge at Washington Elementary, cheer and dance workshop registration fee
