The Spencer Chamber Ambassadors visited Medlar Coffee Company on Tuesday to congratulate owners Cathy and Paul Veiseth and Heather and Kerry Belgrave on the move to their new location at 324 Grand Ave. Cathy and Heather said they can't believe the difference a few blocks has made for their business. Medlar was at their previous location for two years before making the move to be directly on Grand Avenue. They will soon be finishing a back patio area behind their storefront, on the east side.
The Spencer Chamber Ambassadors visited Farmers Bank Tuesday to welcome new mortgage bankers, Kristy Mills and Payton Johnson. They are currently working on a new website which will include features like rate watch, loan applications and a resource center. The Spencer Chamber Ambassadors welcomed new Clay County Fair & Events Center staff on Tuesday. Stacey Meyer, events services director, has worked with the fair for 12 years and accepted her promotion at the end of March. Emily Mars, social media specialist, also started in March with previous experience doing social media at other fairs. Jennifer Vodraska has worked with the fair for nine years, taking over the food and beverage coordinator position from Meyer. (Photo submitted)
