POKHARA, May 21: The government has announced that 2080 BS will mark the beginning of 'Nepal Tourism Decade' and 2025 as 'Special Tourism Year'. Presenting the policies and programs for the upcoming financial year, President Ram Chandra Paudel announced the Nepal Tourism Decade and Special Tourism Year.
Effective 22 March, a special visit-free visa also applies to tourists from Singapore and ASEAN countries with permanent residency or citizenship in Singapore, entering the Riau Islands through selected immigration checkpoints.
These countries include Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. While the Visa on Arrival (VOA) applies for entry at Bali s I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, holders may exit the country via other checkpoints.
