In texas an entirely different story. We are looking at anywhere electric 7 from 7 to 10 inches of rain in parts of south of dallas. This will continue up to the ohio river valley and we will look for the flash flood warnings the next several days for texas. Breaking news is happening right now in santa cruz where rescuers drove his car off the west side of the wharf. You can see where the car crashed through that 4foot defense there. That car being pulled out of the water right now. The sent nell reports that the men were under water for about a half hour before rescuers were able to get them out. It struck during rush hour at 5 04 p. M. 63 people were killed. Most died in the collapse of the cypress freeway in oakland. A chunk of the bay bridge also fell. Homes burned to the ground, and the asgiants world series stopped. The 89 quake was the most destructive Natural Disaster in the bay area since the great quake of 1906.
