Elementary. Marin county at this point in a category of its own with being in the red county surrounded by a lot of those other purple tier counties. We broke it down by numbers. 51 counties are in the purple category. Just six in the red category. One lone county is in orange. These counties in purple, according to the states covid website, represent nearly 40 Million People in the state or 99. 1 of the states population really in a league of its own. Pa rin marin stands out. In a letter to parents, the superintendent and the School Principal emphasized that families are encouraged to quarantine when needed and some of the school day will be a little different. Dropoff and pickup, drivers are to meet at a designated gate and the drivers are to remain in their cars. Some feel the district may be moving too fast.
