they are alive. the time that they estimated they might have for oxygen expires about now, but p.h. nargeolet is on that craft. people i have spoken to here that know him, that know his abilities, say that he would have kept people calm in there, kept them breathing very shallowly so they could preserve as much oxygen as possible. this is still very much a search and rescue mission and searches are going to treat it as though they are alive. important that they got an rov down to the bottom and on the bed of the ocean in that area, but they still don t know exactly where the titan submersible is. there is no beacon. no clear indication of where it is. those banging noises you mentioned, they were described as banging noises by some. coast guard saying they might be banging, they might be something else. they are not sure what they are, but it s their best clue right
every single year it goes up and up and up. i think jim cameron said every generation rediscovers titanic. there s something there for everybody. there s the personaler stories the 2,000 people on board. there s the tragedy of that night and everything inth betwe. the company that p.h. worked for and i work with is rms titanic inc., and they ve been the ones early on that recovered artifacts, and you can see that in various exhibitions all around the planet really. but the public sitting there watching the public come in, young and old, affluent and not, individuals and families, there is a fascination that runs very deep and a passion, which in this case, the people in the submarine have to somehow feel. it s pretty amazing to me that
families who have already been briefed about this. how hard it is for them to take in. especially given the fact ththey knew the expertise, the ceo, was on there. the man who s been called mr. titanic down there more than 30 times. the french marian, p.h. nargeolet. they heard noises that could not be explained thought perhaps there was a chance. this tends to indicate that what they are being told by the u.s. coast guard, this debris who been found. there is still a lot more to do here in terms of to find this submersible and understand exactly what happened. again, we continue to reach out to canadian officials and i will say the transportation safety board here in canada would be in charge of any investigation and at the ready and again deployed so many assets there in terms of recovery. they will be able hopefully to give those families what they need, which is information and peace of mind.

look at that s what stockton was trying to do, figure out a way for more people to be able to see the wonders of the ocean. that was his dream and his vision. p.h. shared that. sometimes when you re doing new things and pushing the limits, terrible things happen. neil: two of these five passengers, tom, were members of this explorers club. i guess it s a unique fraternity of individuals who are in to dangerous discovery as well. i don t know whether it s in all of their dna, but risk is just an accepted part of it. you were talking about your friends that you knew on this. could you confirm that? i mean, yeah, that s i think there s certain people that are explorers.
