together. eventually some things will start to sink, but i m just astonished that we haven t found anything yet except for the fact it s a very big ocean. we have to even keep remembering that. it is hard to remember especially because the plane is so big but we don t have that perspective on the ocean. i think what we mean here is with the tuvg how far debris could move over the course of a week or two weeks and it s now been four weeks, i m just wondering how far you think a debris field could move under the circumstances of being near the top of the ins yand ocean simply because when we look at the route they now think the plane took, it s right off the coast of indonesia, and yet it s hard to believe that there s debris still there. well, it depends on which area you re talking about. you remember there was initially a southern search area. i think that s around where the chinese ship has detected the
of time where they may have incidental expenses that are necessary to be paid. miles o brien, investigators absolutely 100% sure they can figure out if the objects are, in fact, from flight 370, but the sooner they find them, the better their chances are of determining that. absolutely. i mean, you know, one thing to consider here is if it s anything to do with an aircraft in that region, it s not like there s another crash that might confuse things. it will be obvious if it s an airplane part. then, of course, airplane parts are there s a lot of paper and documentation and serial numbers which are associated with all of them. so miles trace it. forgive me for jumping in here, but you brought up the tsunami which i thought was a very good point when you re looking at these things. you know, one never knows. well, yeah, i can t think there was an aircraft washed away in the tsunami. no, no, just objects. i mean just objects. yes. i think that s what we were seeing,

700 miles into the north of the indian ocean which puts it much closer to perth which means planes can stay on station for much, much longer. this is significant because it comes after new analysis of the radar images that the investigators have been working with. that analysis suggests that the plane was flying faster than first thought. it was flying faster which meant it was burning more fuel and it came down long before the southern search area. 700 miles north in the new search zone. there is going to be a ship on station at the in the area where those objects are at some time tomorrow. it s there in the search zone at the moment. it s a chinese search vessel. it s the only one there. the rest of the fleet is still coming up from the southern end of the ocean. they re going to be on station tomorrow. we could get some actual eyes on. some of these objects taken on
