Toll on the famous crooked stretch of lombard street was vetoed by Governor Newsom just last year. The letter comes just weeks after Market Street was shut down to noncommercial traffic. Another thought proposed in the letter is taking away free parking meters on nights and sundays. A lot of people come into the city on the weekend, and i think that, you know, that parking is just as valuable on the weekend as it is during the week. I dont like that.
