EXETER â On May 4, the Southeast Land Trust of NH (SELT) completed a conservation easement on Clarke Farm, a 300-acre, grass-based livestock operation that straddles the towns of Newmarket and Epping. Jack and Linda Clarke originally purchased the property in 1977. The farm raises cattle and sheep on pasture, selling their meats into the local food market.

In Farmington: A fond farewell to TD Bank and staff

FARMINGTON Everyone seems to be spring cleaning and there are several upcoming events that will help you clear out, including getting rid of old medications or hazardous waste, plus the annual Town and Road clean-ups. And spring banners are now a welcome sight around town.
Farmington TD Bank closing
The community has had a bank downtown for over 100 years. Currently is a TD Bank, but they decided to close our branch as of April 23. This is a loss for everyone who banked there, especially those who were within walking distance and don’t have transportation to a different location. It’s also a loss, for those of us who frequented this bank, of the great staff who worked there for so long. Here’s a special shout out to Angela, Tammie, Nancy H., Nancy W., and Kathy. Thank you for being such a friendly, welcoming presence in our community. We’ll miss you.
