Water main flushing continues
MARION - Aqua Ohio’s Marion Division will conduct water main flushing in the Marion County service area between 8 a.m. and midnight Monday through Friday. Customers may notice a drop in water pressure or temporary water discoloration.
If possible, customers should refrain from doing laundry to avoid potential staining while the flushing is taking place near their home. If tap water is discolored, allow it to run until clear. Next week s flushing schedule is as follows:
Monday: South High Street, East Church Street, Mount Vernon Avenue, South Vine Street, Ellis Place, Franklin Street, Lafayette Street, Willow Street, Gurley Avenue, Belmont Street, Powhatten Street, East Washington Avenue, Eisenhower Avenue, Walnut Street, Presidential Avenue, South Greenwood Street, Cummins Avenue, Durfee Drive, Sargent Street, Elm Street, Brightwood Drive, Then between East Center Street and Mount Vernon

A Warrior Run man who made a mess of a police holding cell was apprehended after someone reported him breaking into vehicles Tuesday morning, according to Hazleton police.
Police were called to the 100 block of South Vine Street around 5:30 a.m. for a report of a man breaking into parked vehicles. The suspect was wearing a red shirt and had long hair that was pulled back.
Officers said they got to the neighborhood and took Dominic L. Marsicano, 26, into custody after witnessing him trying to get into a parked Honda sedan.
After confirming the vehicle wasnât Marsicanoâs, he was taken to the police station and detained in a holding cell.

MERIDEN âA former Hunterâs Ambulance employee was placed on administrative leave after an investigation into his conduct while treating a patient, according to a warrant released Wednesday. The employee is accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at multiple locations just hours after he was placed on leave. Â
Richard White, 37, of 31 Wheeler Lane, Torrington, was charged Tuesday with criminal attempt to commit first-degree arson, manufacturing of bombs, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal mischief in connection with the Meriden incident. He is also charged with third-degree arson and third-degree burglary
