The York County district attorney says a man has been charged with animal abuse in the case of a dog named Chance that was beaten nearly to death last year in York.
Terrell Harris, 35, was charged this week, DA Davd Sunday said. He's accused of beating the puppy, now named Chance, with a stick last summer in the city.
