‘You don’t want to die for this’: Man robbed, shot during York County drug deal gone wrong, police say

A 30-year-old man was shot four times and had his car stolen in York Tuesday by an acquaintance he met up with to buy marijuana, according to court documents.
The man told police afterward the ordeal that he had an arrangement with 34-year-old John T. Reid III. The pair had met up twice before outside Reid’s York home on the 300 block of South Pershing Avenue, so Reid could sell him drugs, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
