JUPITER Brightline s northward expansion project will continue its way through Jupiter, closing traffic to motorists at the railroad crossing at Toney Penna Drive between South Old Dixie Highway and Alternate State Road A1A starting next week.
The crossing will be closed from 7 a.m. Monday through the evening of Jan. 28. Construction crews from Brightline are working to complete railroad crossing upgrades as part of the high-speed rail line s expansion, connecting South Florida to Orlando International Airport.
Currently, crews are completing work at the railroad crossing on Donald Ross Road in Palm Beach Gardens. That crossing is scheduled to reopen Sunday. Similar work has also been done at rail crossings on Indiantown Road and Frederick Small Road in Jupiter, at Hood Road in Palm Beach Gardens and at Blue Heron Boulevard in Riviera Beach.
