Mackay police have uncovered drugs and a stolen car broken down into pieces during a search at a Blacks Beach home.
Senior Constable Steve Smith said Mackay District Property Task Force officers executed a search warrant at the address on Tuesday in relation to the alleged theft of a car.
He said police found a Suzuki Swift hatchback reported stolen from a South Mackay home on January 30, as well as drug utensils and tablets.
“A large portion of this vehicle is also alleged to have been dismantled,” Sen-Constable Smith said.
“This vehicle was seized by officers.”

Police are investigating reports a car ran a red light before crashing into another vehicle in South Mackay.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers were called to the scene at the intersection of Bridge Rd and Paradise St, South Mackay at 4.50pm.

A South Mackay woman will front court next month after drugs were allegedly found inside a car during a traffic intercept.
Police will allege drugs including amphetamine were found inside a vehicle, along with cash, a mobile phone, clip seal bags and drug utensils, during the search about 3pm on January 26.

He secured a job at a meatworks and moved with his family to Mackay in 2008, settling in to the quiet, peaceful life and working for a brighter future. A future centred on his children.
