The detour for the work on Highway 23 from Paynesville to Richmond will run until November 2022, when the road will reopen for several months. The detour will then be in place again from May 2023 until November 2023 for the final year of construction.
The Highway 23 Coalition will be holding its annual meeting in Waite Park on March 25. U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar has been invited to speak, joining interim Minnesota Department of Transportation Commissioner Nancy Daubenberger.
