The important point, too, is they kept this fire from spreading to a house that right next door, looks like its a couple of feet away. You know how the old neighborhoods have the houses close together. Thats the case here. On the opposite side. Farther away, a brick building has studio apartments in it according to the sign on the outside. We see people milling about from windows wondering what was happening here and if everything is okay. Firefighters say the situation is under control. The roof is totally gone from this home.
