Recovered a van that plunged into a bayou with a family of six inside. The Sheriffs Office tweeting that picture within the last hour saying theyve uncovered two bodies, man and woman. Now, earlier today, we got our first real look from the air at the devastation of the fires. These pictures are from santa rosa. Also, there are some staggering new numbers tonight. 21 people have now died. 185 are injured. And 560 people are still missing in Sonoma County alone. At least 3500 buildings have been destroyed. Thousands of homes are still threatened. And 4500 people are in shelters. For a short time, we were trying to get people back in a their houses to get medication and urgent things. We were doing some escorts. We cant do that anymore because of fire safety issues so we have stopped that. So please, all the citizens, dont come to any site and expect to get in. Stay away from the evacuation areas. We still cant get in there. The tubbs fire in santa rosa at the top of the map has burned 28,000 acres and has zero containment.
