But its later this afternoon that we really do get whacked with low pressure thats pushing all of this through the bay area. The winds pick up, the rains come down. And you can see on the futurecast that now were going to stop this at midday so 1 00 in the afternoon, the major band is still up in the north bay. That is whats going to be moving south kicking up the winds giving us good rain and gusts to about 30, 40 Miles Per Hour before it all moves out overnight tonight so it will be blustery today. High wind advisories are posted for gusts up to 60 miles an hour in the higher elevations. Thats this afternoon. Numbers on the chill side, as well. And were not done with it yet. From the point of entry to where it is now. The 18yearold was going from tracy to see family. When she didnt arrive, family reported her missing. Shortly after the Sheriffs Office says her car clipped another vehicle before entering the creek. Her bumper and license plate remained on land. Law enforcement agencies spent the morning searching for the vehicle, but officials wont be able to recover it until tomorrow because of the high water. Overnight water levels are expected to recede. Officials will also turn off water from the reservoirs. Its not like turning off a facet, so the water takes six to eight hours to see a noticeable dissipation. Reporter officials said theyll reclose niles canyon road at 10 00 in the morning. Storms are to blame for opening a sinkhole this morning.
