$300K worth of equipment stolen from Morro Bay construction site KSBY and last updated 2021-03-12 01:39:26-05 Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment was stolen from a construction site in Morro Bay, according to the Morro Bay Police Department. Two construction sites were reportedly targeted by burglars in the early morning hours on Thursday, March 11. Police say at the construction site in the 500 block of South Bay Boulevard, where crews are building the city s new water reclamation facility, several storage containers were burglarized with approximately $300,000 worth of commercial equipment reported stolen. At the nearby construction site in the 1300 block of Quintana Road, police say additional storage containers were broken into and several large, heavy items were taken.

San Luis Obispo County outages, flooding and road closures January 28, 2021 By JOSH FRIEDMAN Numerous San Luis Obispo County residents remain without power, and several roads are flooded Thursday morning as a storm continues to soak the Central Coast. As of 9 a.m., there are power outages impacting areas across the county with larger ones in Cambria, Santa Margarita, Atascadero, Creston and San Luis Obispo. Cambria has also been hit with flooding. Main Street in Cambria is closed from Windsor Boulevard to Cambria Drive, according to the SLO County Public Works Department. Other roadways closed because of flooding include River Road in Paso Robles from Wellsona Road to Estrella Road; Turri Road in Los Osos from Los Osos Valley Road to South Bay Boulevard; and San Luis Bay Drive from Highway 101 to Monte Road south of San Luis Obispo.
