The Supreme Court has stayed implementation of the three farm laws passed by the Parliament in 2020, which had allowed farmers to sell their produce outside the APMC Act controlled mandis . Ordering the formation of a 4-member committee to examine the concerns of farmers, the top court clarified that the stay on implementation of these laws isn t indefinite.
