redeemed change is to also hold the united states people at risk. that is his strategy. it s a pretty sound strategy. to be frank, but the calculation was made during the obama administration. he has to recalculate somewhat now, because the president will put the military option back on the table. neil: the markets were racing ahead today, the dow, and s&p 500 had records. they are not worried about what is happening, pretty scary in the weeks, months, and a year ahead. they show it in a funny way. what do you think? is i think they are savvy. they know, look. if we will have a problem, militarily, we are likely to pull our families out of south korea. we are likely to start moving forces, that are not into fear, and some capability that will be put in stage properly. those kind of movements, we can do some of those two things secretly. largely, they eventually get leaked to be frank about it. none of those moves have been
breeding confusion at airports. sean spicer is defending the roll-out, and calling the criticism overblown. if we announce this a lot earlier, it would have given people plenty of time to flood into the country who could have done us harm. that s not exactly a sound strategy, right? so the people that needed to be kept in the looked were kept in the looked. trump also tweeting if the ban were announced with a one week notice, the bad would rush in. a lot of bad dudes out there, but the refugee process often drags on for more than a year. even visas can take weeks for approval. the uncertainly drew a shark rebuke from many reps. senators john mccain and lindsey graham warned the travel ban could alienate muslim allies saying we ultimately fear this will become a self-inflicted wound. trump swiped back on twitter calling them weak on immigration, saying they re always looking to start word war iii.
it just shows you how well they can contain the situation. he was still in france. here s what we re getting. i found this interesting from spain. this it ring leader tried to recruit spanish citizens to join isis to go to syria using social media. specifically wanted women. why? the women thing, it comes down to manipulation and this guy is obviously very sick in the head. he recruited his own 13-year-old brother back in 2013 to go fight over in syria. what we re really dealing with here is this radical ideology that we need to develop a real sound strategy to beat them. we re good at killing bad guys, but we need to fundamentally understand that we re up against this ideology that can be adopted anywhere in the world. what about china? isis is now claiming they killed
up with a sound strategy, we re in a vulnerable situation. they have a lot of authority and scope to do anything necessary. question one, implied if you didn t even actually state that you thought the administration had made mistakes, miss the vote, would love to hear about that. second you said at a minimum we should cooperate with the russians. at that minimum, what should we do for the best we can which is not a great position for us? we should be communicating with them. i think the operation question is one we got to hash out. look, on the administration side the president started this war with the bombing campaign august 8, 2014, to defend an american embassy and reveal and protect against a humanitarian atrotsty in the area of northern iraq. there was a self-defense rational. within two weeks, the protect the american side of this was done and at that point the president s legal authority in my view expired and you can t go
