More than stunning views: the vineyards of Duoro s Quinta de la Rosa
In 1906, Claire Feueheerd was given a christening present that sounds as if it comes from the imagination of the Brothers Grimm. Quinta de la Rosa was bought expressly for her by her Yorkshire maternal grandmother. After the Second World War, when her marriage to her Swedish husband Eric Bergqvist failed, Claire moved to live there full-time.
