Sarafina! coming to the Guild

On the cusp of SA’s general elections, the Sonwa Sakuba Insitute for the Performing Arts will perform the iconic struggle musical Sarafina! at the Guild Theatre. Set during apartheid, the musical follows the harrowing and violent experiences black pupils faced fighting the Bantu education system during the Soweto riots.
