Independent witness Sonu Mhaske claimed in an affidavit that he was forced to sign a blank panchanama by NCB officials probing the case. His application to get the same on record in court has been opposed by the NCB.
Witness Sonu Mhaske claimed that he had been forced to sign under the panchnama of October 5, under “threat of false implication in criminal case and the arrest for non-co-operation.”
The panch witness alleged he was forced to sign blank papers and empty unsealed envelopes and threatened with prison time if he failed to comply with the NCB officials' orders.
