From the flames and the smoke the fire thats still burning. Firefighters do say that they have stopped before progress on this fire. So again more breaking news that military helicopters now attempting to rescue more than 60 people who are trapped in the creek fire thats the one burning down in fresno county. This is a 3rd attempt now to get those hikers the rescuers had to be called or the rescues had to be called off last night because of the heavy smoke that was blocking visibility. Very scary. We actually have some pictures of the hikers you see that there they are right there sheltering at the vermilion valley camping resort thats at lake edison volunteers are out there and theyre helping the hikers a stay fed and hydrated hydrated excuse me as they wait to be rescued and then we also have a map here showing where those hikers are in relation to the creek fire.
