shots fired in alameda county between sheriff s deputies and a domestic violence suspect. right now, that suspect is under arrest. let s go to anne makovec in hayward with details. anne, good morning. reporter: good morning. a whole lot of shots fired sydnie, but luckily, nobody was hit. and the man who started this all, according to officers, is now in jail here in hayward. now, this started at around midnight just outside of hayward. alameda county sheriff s officers were called to a home on matrix way because of a domestic dispute. they say when they got there, there was a man with a gun and several children standing nearby. this is an officer-involved shooting. the deputy at the time when he was contacted the suspect did believe the suspect spun around with a gun in his hand. he, the deputy fired, and that s when the suspect jumped out of the third story window. reporter: he was missing for about two hours. officers had to lock down that neighborhood and search for
martin. i m sydnie kohara. it is invisible but potentially deadly. and this afternoon, it is blamed for poisoning guests at a popular bay area hotel. anne makovec shows us where carbon monoxide apparently sickened some flight attendants. reporter: four people were made quite sick last night. one of them is still in the hospital this afternoons the other three have returned to the hotel according to a marriott spokesman and they are booked into different rooms. the four rooms that were affected are still closed this afternoon as the hotel and the fire department try to figure out exactly where this carbon monoxide came from. they are focusing on a ventilation system that sits at street level on the other side of the hotel. surprise and shock, i mean you don t expect something like that to happen in a hotel like this. reporter: but last night around 10:30, four guests at the marriott marquis in downtown san francisco got seriously sick. the fire department and departm
