Kenneth (Kenny) Allen Erickson, age 68, of Crystal River, FL, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday September 24th, 2023. Kenny was born in Duluth, MN on July 15th, 1955, to Glifford Erickson and Mary Savage. He attended Proctor schools and graduated in 1973. After graduation Kenny joined the Operating Engineers, Local 49’s where he worked as a heavy equipment operator up until his retirement in 2010. On November 6th, 1976, Kenny wed the love of his life Joan Margaret (VanArman) Erickson. Kenny always loved to tell the story of how he walked in, saw her, and said, “that is the woman I’m going to marry” and after 2 weeks he proposed and that was the start of their everlasting love. Kenny was one of a kind and he lived life to the fullest! He loved watching Vikings football in his decked-out garage, using his signature dance moves, cooking, boating, snowmobiling, camping, and fishing.
