least some evidence of suspicion of some real wrongdoing? there are extremely strict and established guidelines about what it takes to be an fbi informant. not just a matter of somebody saying, hey, come here, meet me by the water cooler. there are guidelines about how to handle them, penalties to the agents who mishandle them. there are requirements that the information they provide be credible, it be checked, it be substantiated in some way to that person actually is a credible source of information and it s very different than simply a cooperator, a term we often use and hear about people like rick gates or other people who or michael flynn, cooperating with the mueller investigation. if there is somebody who they have in a position, there s been a hurdle they had to overcome to get that person that title and there is a vested interest in their protection, a cooperator ultimately testifies at a trial normally in order to get the person to be convicted. an informant, somebody who
during the campaign. i think his supporters were all about law and order. they weren t for big weed. exactly. it is a real shock. if you look at this polling, first of all, the polls nationwide don t say what a lot of the supporters wanted to say. the supporters of legalization will say, most people don t favor a full-blown legalization. what they favor is some decriminalization and actually most republicans don t favor any kind of legalization. the numbers are the majority don t favor this course of action. anywhere in the country. what you ve got is him going against his face to take this position, which i think it s kind of indefensible. i can almost see somebody saying, it should be legalized everywhere. but to say it should be incubated in these various states where we ve already seen in colorado, it s a disaster. but we should incubate this industry in various states so they can export it through the market other states is kind of

one of the favorite parts of my committee, it shows all the flaws this committee has had by the way republicans have been leading it. at one point a republican asked glenn simpson, how would we find out what has been alleged on money laundering? simpson curiously looked at the republican and said, well, you would have to subpoena that. the republican was acting as if they don t have subpoena power. we do have subpoena power. the problem is they re not willing to use it. you subpoena bank records, you subpoena travel records, subpoena telecommunication records, text message logs. we can find out whether these witnesses are telling the truth just to be clear, right now when you say you ve seen evidence of money laundering having to do with the trump organization, not talking about paul manafort, the trump organization and the russians righ now. have you seen evidence, direct evidence beyond what glenn simpson said? beyond glenn simpson, yes evidence is not a conclusion. somebody
