Some Nigerians on X, previously known as Twitter, have been complaining about their inability to update their prepaid meters before the November 2024 deadline as stipulated by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). NERC in August 2023 asked users of prepaid meters to update their meters before November 2024. This was contained in a statement issued by NERC in a tweet on its X account on Wednesday, noting that prepaid meter users might face difficulties in recharging their meters after November 2024 if the required updates were not done before the deadline.
