according to tomtoms annual traffic index, istanbul is the most congested. city in the world, followed by mexico city, and rio de janeiro. los angeles ranks tenth on that list. mexico city officials have an unusual idea for one way to deal with their city s terrible congestion rate. their solution isn t to reduce the number of cars on the roads by increasing subways and buses. it s a loftier goal. the next time you re stuck in a traffic jam, imagine how would you feel if you could soar above all of the cars stopped below. well, officials in mexico city are proposing a system of elevated gondolas that would allow their citizens to do just that, ads quartz has reported. take a look at the proposed gondola system. as you can see from the model these fit two passengers. they can change direction on the track. in fact, commuters can save time by stopping only at their destination unlike a subway or
compassionate, most are hard working public servants risking their lives for the public. most defend the constitution and i don t think their union is helping them by somehow getting into a war with the mayor by going through homeless people. they should pick on someone their own size and not the most vulnerable in our society. i don t get it. when you look at the statistics of homeless in america, it is hard to believe they re being vilified. 30% are mentally ill. 17% are physically disabled. 9% are veterans. isn t this a population that needs help, not to be attacked? absolutely. i live in new york. i don t like people urinating on the streets, whether it is a rich person after a game or a low income homeless person. but the solution isn t to throw them into prison. it is to help them get homes. they re not aggressively

this is about making sure that the recovery, you know, doesn t continue to be as tepid as it has been. look, brenda, i had the very personal experience as a young child of standing in a line waiting for government cheese. people who are on food stamps who are receiving these progr s programs, it is demonizing. they do not want to be in that line. they do not want to be working a full-time job and still living in poverty. what needs to happen? we do need to increase the minimum wage. we should not have a person who is working full-time receiving the minimum wage still have his family in poverty and have to listen to a child say mama, i m hungry. so it is not about throwing these programs more money. this is a social safety net. it s a safety net for when we went into the recession and that s why the numbers are so high. but the solution isn t to just
glue their eyes to something. i am not sure a shorter day is such a bad idea. there is no attention span and no accountability in chicago either. true for a number of things and not just education. voting for that mayor. paul, you say that you don t have to spend a lot of time in education to make a lot of money. i want you to know i am proof of that. what i said was the problem problem the solution isn t having a longer school year. the problem is culturally, the message we send to kids is education isn t important. there are lots of shortcuts you can take to be rich and famous and edge cant and education ain t it. the issue is not for me, oh he will be watching too many reruns. he will be a bad leg. your kid should have a summer. go around, have a good had time. enjoy yourself. experience life.
