Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal is organizing various environmental educational programmes under Summer Nature Study Programme- Green Teen for the students of class 8th to 10th.
In continuation of the environmental educational programmes; Study Visit of Solid Waste Management Plant at
Belortol waste plant, built by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation, is expected to be operational from April this year. The plant will have a capacity of treating 150 tonnes of garbage in eight hours. This will help solve the waste management problem in Guwahati, which generates over 550 tonnes of waste per day.
