Three people taken to the hospital after a shooting near south mountain. Fox 10s Danielle Miller has been live at the scene for the better part of the last two hours. Danielle, whats the story . Hey, john. Still a lot of Police Presence here on this street where this shooting happened. Take a look here. A lot of Police Coming and going from this area. Thats the house there that phoenix fire is telling us that these three male victims were found shot and they are telling us that all three of those men were taken to the hospital. They were condition. I am not sure exactly what led up to this shooting. Police have not confirmed that to us yet. But a lot of people here in the area that we talked to said that it was some sort of robbery, but like i said, not confirmed with police at this time. We actually spoke to one of the fathers of one of the men who were shot. He says that his son called him right after the shooting happened. I have been in this area for years, so i have seen it all. The officer its unclear how many rounds and struck the officer right in his badge. The trooper was not injured and returned fire hitting and killing the suspect on scene. A woman out for a walk on the street in rockport, suddenly attacked. She was taken from behind. Knocked to the ground. Reporter rockports police chief says it happened wednesday night just after 9 00 on pools lane. The victim, a woman in her early 50s. The individual did grab at her khloeing. There was no Sexual Assault involved in this attack. It was strictly an assault and battery on her. She received some scrapes from hitting the ground. And she was shaken. It makes you s somebody else. Reporter someone heard the womans screams and called 911. The alleged attacker got away. Police have picked this man out of Surveillance Video from a nearby store. The individual matches the description to a degree that was provided by the victim. And was seen in the area following similar paths of travel that the victim walked during this incident.
