Tonight, our conversation with Tennessee Republican senator bob corker when his early career in business. I had come in, started working like most folks when i was 13 doing all kinds of odds and ends, a construction laborer in kind of a rough carpenter when i graduate from college. I ended up being a construction superintendent. So after about four years, i have built some reasonable malls around the country and learned how to build projects, and i saved 8000. So when i was 25, i went in business. And i started doing a lot of repeat work, Small Projects like to get paid quickly. The company grew at about 80 a year the whole time, ended up building Shopping Centers around the country, retail projects in 18 states. So it was an energizing, a great place to be. I mean, the energy when you come in the front door it would almost knock you down. And i sold that when i was 37, to a young man who had worked with me for many, many years, and then, of course, have done several things since there
School. She is going to be and she is a senior going to college next year. And the oldest one, you know, has his eyes on going to law school. He got out of college and played football in college. Now he is looking at going to law school after having worked a few years in the Minnesota State legislature who prole looks the most like me. He has dreadlocks down to the middle of his back. He is an artist. He paints merrills and rights fiction. Of course i have a son who is in the United States military, active duty. And he is 19 years old station in for stuart. Rare very proud of them. My kids have the are my treasure. There are the best. But none of my kids were raised exactly like i was. Like all of them, you know, theyre individuals. Anybody else kids knows, you dont shake your kids. There are who they are. All you can do is try to guide them. But theyre growing their own personalities. So i think the impression of tibetan, too much emphasis, importance of dalai lama. Not steady. So i think the people got the impression tibetan prison is Something Like lamaism. So lama have some kind of freedom. That is totally wrong. I always described myself as a simple monk. Just one of the buddhist monk. According of the system, 250 precepts. No exception. [inaudible] same way. And steady, regular study. I think yesterda
