Authorities are investigating a Southern California couple for alleged torture and child endangerment after several children were found shackled and dirty inside their home. Police say they found 12 people, including several minors, allegedly being held captive after one of the victims escaped and called police. When officers contacted the victims parents, they couldnt explain why the children were being held in such conditions and were arrested. Nbcs Miguel Almaguer has more. Reporter this is the home where Authorities Say 13 brothers and sisters were held captive by their parents. Inside, several of the children discovered shackled to their beds with chains and padlocks. But it ended quickly when police say that the drive ran a red light and slammed into that silver f150 pickup. Three people in the f150 were injured including two children who we heard earlier tonight were in critical condition. Earlier though we spoke with a witness who described what she saw and what she heard moment after that crash. Heres what she had to say.
