overnight, continues to snow. this is the situation on one of the highways here. this is a toll road 66 here in westmoreland county, just outside of pittsburgh. you can see snow continues to cover this road. it s a serious situation here in pennsylvania, here in the pittsburgh area. a number of communities have declared states of emergencies. the entire county of westmoreland has declared a state of emergency. they are urging people to stay off the road. as you can see behind me, most of the people are heeding that warning. there are a few people out here in suvs, in heavy trucks, going around, but the emergency officials are asking people here to stay off of the roads. they say only essential personnel, emergency vehicles and road crews, so they can get a handle on the situation here as the snow continues to come down. we have a number of reports of power outages, widespread power outages across the area as crews are attempting to get out to fix those. also, a number of motorists stra
