2 dead in crash along SR 9 in Snohomish KOMO News Staff
Two people were killed in a crash just south of Snohomish Wednesday evening.
Troopers say a Honda Civic had just entered the northbound lanes of SR-9 from 172nd Street SE and then slowed to make a left turn across the southbound lanes in front of a pickup truck towing a trailer.
The pickup was unable to stop in time and collided with the Honda, sending both vehicles into the ditch.
The woman driving the Honda, identified 49-year-old Michele Panello, and her passenger, 28-year-old Tyler Ott of Snohomish, were both killed in the crash, troopers said.
