BOISE — An environmental group has accused the J.R. Simplot Co.’s cattle feedlot in Grand View, Idaho, of polluting the Snake River and lacking a key permit.
J.R. Simplot was sued by environmentalists for discharging manure into the Snake River from the company s Grand View, Idaho, feedlot. The lawsuit filed in a federal court in Idaho alleges the 150,000-head feedlot has not had a permit to discharge since 2012.
