Frontier Festival – a celebration of hope, health and harvest – transforms Cedar Point’s Frontier Town into a Wild West hootenanny, with music, interactive games, street entertainers and a mouth-watering food and drink menu. (Cedar Point photo)
Millennium Force, funnel cakes, Planet Snoopy, fresh-cut fries, keepsake souvenirs and the famous mile-long Cedar Point Beach – they all make their return as Cedar Point kicked off its 2021 season on May 14.
The park’s signature Frontier Festival joins the expansive list of attractions made for thrill-seekers and chill-seekers alike.

The Maverick runs for guests as Cedar Point prepared Thursday for the 2021 season grand opening. Media toured Frontiertown to see some of the new offerings to visitors this season.

One of Cedar Point’s partners is Prayers From Maria, a foundation dedicated to raising money for research and treatment for childhood brain tumors known as gliomas. Megan McNamara, co-founder of the organization, started the foundation in memory of her daughter, Maria, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in kindergarten and died a year later.
