Reporter with Vice President pence casting the tie breaking vote, the motion to open debate on the Gop Health Care plan moved forward in the senate by just a 51 50 margin. Arizona senator john mccain returned for the vote. I will not vote for this bill as it is today. Its a shell of a bill right now. Reporter hours later though, mccain did in fact vote to repeal and replace the Affordable Care act. In all nine republicans voted against repealing and replacing the aca, falling short of the necessary threshold of 57 votes, including vocal opposition from maines senator susan collins.
